MBITA New Member

The Monterey Bay International Trade Association (MBITA) welcomes its new member, Richard Schneider Enterprises, Inc. (RSE). RSE is a global translation and interpretation company with 27 years of experience, working in over 170 languages for many different industries. RSE offers the personalized attention to translate product labels for local exporters, but it is also large enough that it can cover massive projects, like its recent commission to translate the trials of former regime leaders in Iraq.

HISTORY

RSE began with one man’s passion for bridging the communication gap. Richard Schneider grew up bilingual, knowing the importance—and joy—of language. His mother and father were of Hungarian and Russian heritage, respectively, and the family moved to Mexico City when Richard was only three years old. Translation agency work later prompted Richard to create his own company.

He opened Richard Schneider Enterprises, Inc. (RSE) on October 1, 1980: starting with a post office box, a beeper, and $30. Most important, Richard founded his business on a genuine desire to serve and a sincere passion for the profession. Richard was then a one-man show, serving as interpreter as well as front and back office. Clients called with a pressing need for a Spanish interpreter, and Richard would fly out of the office to fulfill the request. That was almost three decades ago. Now, Richard now credits an excellent staff for continuing his mission to provide clear communication.

SERVICES

RSE provides written translation. Some exporters request that RSE translate product labels and documentation into French because otherwise the law would not permit them to sell their products in France. Others request that RSE translate contracts that enable them to do business in Southeast Asia. Non-exporters also request that RSE translate website material into Spanish to target the US Hispanic population. RSE provides spoken interpretation. Some international businesses request phone interpretation in Japanese for conference calls with potential clients. Others request simultaneous interpretation in Chinese so that they can invite international partners to the conferences they host. No matter what you need, RSE is your one-stop shop that guarantees 100% satisfaction. RSE can also provide multilingual subtitles or voice-overs for your employee training videos. Or RSE can transcribe tapes and videos in other languages, as it has done for high-profile cases involving world political leaders.

QUALITY

Over these past 27 years, RSE has screened thousands of interpreters to ensure that your project is completed by only professionals of the highest caliber. Applicants are evaluated based on fluency, education, years of experience, subject matter expertise, certification, and reliability.

RSE is also pleased to offer the expertise of their friendly and knowledgeable staff, many of whom have been trained at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, in the prestigious Graduate School of Translation & Interpretation. Please call RSE anytime to discuss your particular translation and interpretation needs.

For all MBITA members, RSE would like to offer a 10% Discount for their 1st order.

The fourth annual 'Global California – Challenges and Solutions' conference held in Sacramento, Ca. at the California Chamber of Commerce on May 16 th . The event brought together small to mid-sized businesses, trade and financial service organizations in both the public and private sectors with trade experts from across the state to dialog on the current issues and opportunities facing California's global trade community.
