BayTrade also maintains a database network that provides companies with market and company information, trade leads, conference and trade mission schedules, foreign regulations, sample documents and more. The San Francisco Global Trade Council promotes, through one-on-one interaction, increased international trade between San Francisco/Bay Area and the world. The council assists San Francisco/Bay Area businesses to penetrate foreign markets, and foreign businesses to establish themselves in the Bay Area. The council also organizes seminars and trade missions to help stimulate local international trade activity and hosts business luncheons featuring knowledgeable government and business speakers. The council works with the diplomatic community in the Bay Area, and represents 60 members, who pay an annual fee starting at $1000.

The Economic Development Alliance for Business is an economic development organization serving Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. It devotes itself to cities and businesses wishing to attract foreign investment, organizing outbound trade missions and connecting East Bay businesses with inbound foreign delegations. EDAB works closely with local trade organizations and has developed working agreements with affiliate organizations in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Companies interested in Hong Kong and mainland China will be particularly interested in EDAB's agreement with the Hong Kong Industrial Technology Center that provides for incubator space and business assistance services at competitive rates. There is no charge for EDAB's services.

The Korea Trade Center is an overseas office of the Korea Trade & Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), a non-profit government organization, aimed at promoting trade and investment between Korea and foreign countries. KOTRA provides American businessmen with free services regarding 1) how to do business with Korea, 2) investment in Korea, 3) technology transfer affairs, and 4) assistance for building business partnerships. Serving the Bay Area since 1985, Taiwan Trade Center - San Francisco (TTC-SF) continues to be the premier Taiwan business resource dedicated to promoting high-tech industry trade between the two nations. TTC-SF is a branch office of the Taipei-based China External Trade Development council (CETRA). This non-profit quasi-government organization has a worldwide presence of over 30 field offices with more than 800 personnel. CETRA offers a wide range of information and services to both domestic and foreign firms including business-to-business information, trade promotion activities, product design and packaging, convention services, and research and consulting.
