|| An annual update and 2001 plan for the Monterey Bay international business community presented by the Monterey Export Assistance Center (EAC) of the US Commercial Service (http://www.usatrade.gov) and its private-sector partner, the Monterey Bay International Trade Association (MBITA) (http://www.mbita.org).
Find out about new export promotion programs from the U.S. Department of Commerce and their new online technology applications. Hear about MBITA's 'Silicon Lagoon' project in Italy, its strategic alliance program with Germany and its emerging Global eCommerce project with the Russian Far East.
Congressman Farr will be joining this special luncheon for an end-of-year update as to the Federal Government's programs and agenda for the international business community.
Dr. Edward Valeau, President of Hartnell College in Salinas, CA, will also speak about a new Global Internship Program being initiated with MBITA.
