Description: On May 25, 2005 at a MBITA luncheon Felton, Ca. two pioneers in renewable energies, Ron Swenson (www.swenson.com/ron/) & Reinhold Ziegler (www.mbita.org/ziegler_bio.pdf) discussed their perspectives on the emerging global marketplace for ‘green’ technologies. The depleting oil reserves and the difficulties in getting venture capital companies to invest in Green Technologies were discussed.

Almost one year later on March 31, 2006 at a MBITA luncheon on environmental technologies in Santa Cruz, Ca. Daniel Robin, Elliot Moorhead and Ron Swenson (www.mbita.org/green_technology_speaker_bios.pdf) commented on the new and hot venture capital marketplace for Green technologies that had emerged since the last luncheon 10 months earlier.

On May 4, 2007 and almost two years after the first luncheon in Felton, Ca., MBITA will be conducting a luncheon that will bring together successful exporters, importers, investors and visionaries in a panel format to discuss the following topics:

1) What are the best global opportunities and investments in the burgeoning Green World?

2) Is the Green revolution going to be as big as the IT revolution of the 90’s?

3) What are the challenges and solutions that face the Green Revolution to maximize economic growth while maintaining a clean environment?
