Jim Faith, of Jim Faith and Associates, is the Project Manager and web developer for the new Enterprise Development Network (EDN), a financing initiative launched by the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. By engaging the private sector, EDN greatly extends OPIC’s ability to provide financing and political risk insurance (PRI) to micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) doing business in developing countries.


Jim Faith Bio


Mr. Faith brings over 20 years of experience in engineering and technology management positions with Fuji Film and Photo Optical, Pinnacle Systems, Datalogic and RSA Data Security. His experience in finance began with graduate research in the economics of online payment systems, showing that online payments would increase the velocity of money and therefore decease the level of money stock required to service a given level of economic activity.


He serves on the Board of Directors of the Monterey Bay International Trade Association; is a Trade Finance instructor at the Silicon Valley Center for International Trade Development; and is a Guest Lecturer in Trade Finance at San Jose State University. Mr. Faith holds a BS in Physics from the University of Washington, a BS in Economics from the University of San Francisco and an MA in Economics from San Jose State University.

Mr. Bohrer has managed commercial and residential real estate and mortgage companies. He has served on the board of directors of FDIC financial institutions and publicly traded companies. He has been a FNMA and FREDDIE MAC approved software developer, as well as the CIO of a public on-line Mortgage Bank. He has owned a development company and ran multi-State syndications. He has served as Broker of Record for a Bank Holding Company.
